Drive Green: Micromobility and Electrification

Don’t let the name fool you – micromobility is a big deal!

Micromobility generally refers to the use of smaller, light weight vehicles that travel at slower speeds than traditional motor vehicles. This includes devices like bicycles, cargo bikes and scooters, which can play an important role in facilitating greener transportation, especially when they are electrified.

Worldwide trends indicate that more and more people are turning to micromobility for their daily transportation needs. This session will look at the role of micromobility in transportation, opportunities for growth, and the policies in Ontario that both support, and hinder, adoption.
