Farwiza Farhan is a forest conservationist based in Sumatra, Indonesia and is the founder of HAkA, a grassroots NGO striving to protect the Leuser Ecosystem. This Ecosystem is the last place in the world where tigers, orangutans, elephants and rhinos still roam together in the wild. In this fireside chat, Farwiza will discuss their mission to protect, conserve and restore through empowering communities, advocating for local groups to stand on the frontline of conservation, and employing a holistic approach to conservation.
