In 2024, Enbridge Gas ended its Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) program in partnership with Greener Homes, and introduced its new Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) program, offering up to $5,000 in rebates for energy efficiency upgrades like insulation, air sealing, and heat pumps.

While EnviroCentre does not conduct home energy assessments for the HER program, we encourage you to visit Enbridge’s Home Efficiency Rebate program website for complete details on eligibility, application, and the list of approved service organizations that can complete your home energy assessment for the HER program.

EnviroCentre remains committed to guiding homeowners along their journey to improved home energy efficiency, and continues to provide home energy assessments, as a registered service organization with NRCan, for homeowners not planning to participate in the new HER rebate program. This includes homes without an Enbridge connection, homeowners planning long-term retrofits, applicants of current municipal and federal loan programs, etc.
