Welcome to EnviroCentre

At EnviroCentre, we are working to build a better future for our city and region. You can too.

Our Mission

EnviroCentre scopes, designs, delivers and scales practical solutions to dramatically reduce climate emissions in our communities.

We focus on three main areas

Your home matters.

Making your home more energy efficient and resilient is one of the best things you can do for the planet.

How you get around matters.

We run sustainable transportation programs that support people and communities to lighten the impact of their everyday transportation choices.

How you do business matters.

Future Homes Retrofit Accelerator:
Better Homes for Everyone

Better homes are more efficient, comfortable, resilient, and zero-emissions. We’re working to make this vision possible for residents, trades, and everyone who lives or does business in our region.

Events & Workshops

Getting the Community Together

EnviroCentre is the proud host of numerous special events and workshops throughout the year. Our events are both engaging and educational. But don’t take our word for it, join us and see for yourself!

The Green Room is a podcast where you will meet the people at the frontlines of climate action.

Energy Affordability Programs

Saving energy also means saving on energy bills. As a trusted partner, EnviroCentre delivers energy affordability programs that help residents across Ontario save on energy.

Winter Cycling

If you are just beginning to cycle in the colder months, take the time to learn and build your confidence. With some bike preparation, a good route and the right clothes you can extend your cycling season.

Land Acknowledgement

Residing in Ottawa and operating within the Eastern Ontario region, EnviroCentre acknowledges that our work takes place on the unceded traditional land of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people. We recognize the Algonquin Anishinaabe have lived on and cared for this land since time immemorial. As the descendants of settlers, more recent immigrants, and Indigenous ancestors, we recognize it is our responsibility to work toward true reconciliation with the land’s original people. We are committed to moving toward a full understanding of the meaning of reconciliation, ensuring our work embodies the spirit and goals of reconciliation, and helps bring to reality genuine reconciliation in the Ottawa region and beyond.
