EnviroCentre has a history of strong Transportation Demand Management-related programs in partnership with the City of Ottawa. EnviroCentre’s transportation programs are designed to promote the use of sustainable modes of transportation and help the City of Ottawa achieve the goals set out in the Transportation Master Plan. This includes reducing peak-period vehicle trips through the use of sustainable transportation (transit, cycling, walking, etc.). EnviroCentre has also partnered with the City to implement a fleet anti-idling program, helping to reduce fuel, maintenance and environmental costs associated with the unnecessary idling of the City’s fleet vehicles.
