Dana

Dr. Dana Silk, General Manager

Dana established one of the first community-based energy-efficiency programs in Canada. That was back in 1976, when he was very young and worked for the Community Planning Association of Canada in Saint John, New Brunswick. He then became the first Executive Director of the Conservation Council of New Brunswick, where he established Fredericton's Conserver House, which is still demonstrating energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies as the home of the Conservation Council. His career has so far taken him to Paris and back, strengthening his knowledge of the crucial role that energy efficiency in North America must play for sustainable development around the world.
