Draft Sealing Service

Our certified applicators have been trained to use two-component polyurethane foam, which is ideal for gaps because it expands to fill in all the cracks and corners and provides a high insulation value and an excellent vapour barrier.

This service is currently available only to clients of EnviroCentre who have already had an EnerGuide for Houses or ecoEnergy evaluation done by one of our advisors. If you’re thinking about sealing up your house but haven’t had it tested yet, please think again. A blower door, de-pressurization test is the best place to start because it provides a scientific measurement of your Air Change per Hour rate, which determines if you can keep sealing or need to install a Heat Recovery Ventilator before doing any more draft sealing.

If your test shows potential for draft sealing, please use our quotation form. If it shows that you have at least $500 worth of work to be done, and you send in a deposit cheque made out to EnviroCentre for $200, one of our installers will contact you to make an appointment.
